Energetic & Interactive!
Christie James has extensive experience working with people of all walks of life as they get ideas and transform those ideas into action. With her energetic and interactive style, she has trained and coached everyone from executives to clerks and field personnel in leadership skills, teambuilding, communication, stress management and career development. She takes great joy in watching as the Light of Understanding clicks on.
As a mom and community leader, Christie runs the Carson City Girl Scout Cookie Cupboard, coordinates the Drive-Through Living Nativity, and with the rest of her family, is a ski instructor with the City Parks and Recreation Program.
Christie holds a Masters degree in Applied Communication from the University of Denver, and a Bachelors in Environmental Policy Analysis and Regional Planning from University of California, Davis. She has worked in Training and Organizational Development for Public Service Co. of Colorado and Hughes Aircraft, and has taught workshops for Western Nevada College. She is a former State Floodplain Program Manager for the State of Nevada.
Christie and her husband, Ed, have three children making their way through high school and college. The wealth of experience and good humor that Christie brings adds integrity, credibility and joy to every interaction.
